2017 Slam Team

The 2017 Boston Poetry Slam Team was selected through a seven-poem slam series completing on March 29 that was marked by a series of dramatic ties, resulting in the largest three-round Finals the venue has ever seen. The team will be the venue’s twenty-seventh consecutive representative in national competition, and is composed of Zeke Russell, Neiel Israel, Mckendy Fils-Aimé, Brandon Melendez, and Myles Em Taylor– that’s two Cantab rookies and three grizzled vets from the 2016 team. The team may be booked as a group or individually in the months leading up to Nationals by contacting slammaster@bostonpoetryslam.com.
