Mckendy has shared the stage with the likes of Corrina Bain, Mike McGee, and Regie Gibson. In January of 2011, he toured the country as part of a poetry quartet called No More Ribcage. Some of his work can be found in literary journals such as Amoskeag, Radius, Smashcake, and Borderline. Currently, he has three self-published books and is working on a manuscript.
A New Hampshire resident, Mckendy commutes regularly to the Cantab for the Wednesday open mic and slam, but continues to run frequent writing workshops as part of the Slam Free or Die crowd up north.
Mckendy will serve as the workshop leader for the New and Improved Monday series at Radio in his first local workshop appearance! Get ready to produce some work with a New Hampshire flair.

Simone will arrive at New and Improved with fresh work from her spring tour in Omaha, Nebraska.
