The Boston Poetry Slam holds a show every Wednesday at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge. This venue is the regular home of the Boston Poetry Slam and the location for all slams to qualify to represent the venue in national competition.
The organization also presents a monthly LGBTQ-focused open mic on first Thursdays at Fazenda Coffee Roasters in Jamaica Plain. Moonlighting, an open mic and reading series dedicated to the queer poetry community, welcomes all readers and queer headlining poets.
In addition, the Boston Poetry Slam produces a number of outside events, some of which recur annually. Descriptions and links for public or sponsored events are maintained here. The Boston Poetry Slam can also help with booking poets for your show.
